Argyle Shore Provincial Park

Enjoy the park’s large green space and beach with wide-open views of the Northumberland Strait. This area is a popular spot for watching hermit crabs and digging clams at low tide. A long staircase leads to the beach.
Amenities at this day use park include playground equipment, picnic facilities, showers and flush toilets. Beach is unsupervised. Pets are permitted on leash.
The community was named in the early 1800s by settlers who came from Argyle Shire, Scotland. Its landscape consists of the peaceful harmony of rolling farmland studded occasionally with stands of native trees.
